Lesson 5
We often tell ourselves often that these little lies will protect another person. But if we're honest with ourselves, lying is almost always about protecting our own interests. When we're tempted to lie, we should ask ourselves, “What will this lie do for me?” And, what are the costs to my relationships by lying?
How does a lie affect relationships?
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not
all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5
